Fanatec ClubSport Handbrake V2

The ClubSport Handbrake V2 is a pro-tier accessory built around a load-cell sensor for pressure-based handbrake feel, designed to adapt into the Fanatec ecosystem. It's aimed at serious rally and drift sim racers who want consistent, force-sensed pulls rather than a simple on/off lever. It's a natural add for existing Fanatec owners building out a dedicated rally rig.

I keep this on the rig for rallycross and the occasional handbrake-into-the-pits moment. It's a proper load-cell-style unit, mounts cleanly to the Trak Racer, and when a discipline actually needs a handbrake, having a real one instead of a button is night and day.
The honest truth: it's the most situational piece in my cockpit. The vast majority of my iRacing — GT, formula, oval — never touches it, so if your racing is mostly circuit work you can skip it without missing much. I'm glad it's there for the events that do need it, but it earns its mounting space only a fraction of the time.
This is gear I genuinely own and use; I just haven't staged a separate photo of this particular piece. Owning it never changes its score — how I score. See the full rig: my cockpit.

Verdict
Best for
- Load-cell handbrake feel
- Fanatec ecosystem owners
- Serious rally and drift sim racers
Who should skip this
- Casual or oval racers — a load-cell handbrake is overkill if you rarely rally or drift
- Non-Fanatec rig owners — it's built for the Fanatec ecosystem and assumes that mounting/wiring
- Desk-clamp setups — the load-cell pull demands a rigid cockpit to feel right
