For the price, this cockpit is hard to beat — it does not flex at all under the DD1's 20 Nm, which is the only thing that really matters in a frame. It went together cleanly and has held its alignment through a lot of hard racing.
If I were building again I'd go with a full aluminum-extrusion rig instead, purely for expandability and future-proofing — adding a shifter mount, a keyboard tray, more bracing, or a fourth accessory is just easier on profile rails. The TR8 Pro isn't as endlessly modular, so it's the choice I'd make on a budget, not the one I'd make with unlimited room to grow.
