These are the monitors everything in my room gets judged on, and buying them was a deliberate “once, for a decade” decision rather than upgrading through a chain of cheaper pairs. Coming off the KRK Rokit 5s I'd had since high school, the jump was startling — the stereo image and low-end clarity are on another level; on a good mix you genuinely feel like you're inside the song.
They're overkill for a 10×10 and I knew that going in; in a small room the payoff isn't volume, it's how much detail and depth they resolve. I keep them on the flat/neutral voicing almost all the time — honestly even when I'm just watching TV — but I do use the MEME voicings to sanity-check how my low end translates to phones and laptops before I call a mix done.
