Light Modifiers

A modifier shapes the light you already own, so the first thing to confirm is the mount — almost everything here is Bowens, which has to match your fixture. After that, the decision is about quality and spread of light: size and shape (the bigger and closer, the softer), and type — softboxes and lanterns (Godox P90L, CS-65D, Aputure Lantern 90, Nanlite Lantern 80) wrap soft light around a subject, while focusing optics (Aputure F10 Fresnel, Spotlight Mount 19°) tighten and control the beam for hard light and effects.

The pro optics — Aputure F10 Fresnel and Spotlight Mount 19° — are for precise, shapeable hard light on more demanding sets.
